The environmental engineering department provides services from feed to operational phases in STAT MARINE offices on top of technical consultancy in customers projects offices and subsidiary worldwide.
Environmental Engineering (Project Phase)
STAT MARINE competencies are articulated around the following combination of expertise:
ENVID chairing:

Our engineers use their thorough understanding of offshore development, installation and production activities as well as their “hands on” experience with planned and unplanned (accidental) discharges to provide support to hazard/issue identification workshops
Environmental Management Plan (EMP) & related procedures:

STAT MARINE engineers bring years of field experience, a knowledge of prevailing international standards and a good understanding of impact related to project deployment activities (drilling, construction, operations) to assist with the design and implementation of EMPs and related procedures.
LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) and/or Carbon Footprint analysis:
- LCA and/or GHG (Green House Gases) LCA can be used in combination with EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) to gather quantitative data to rank the environmental burden of development or environmental management options such as those related to wastes treatment and disposal, produced water management or decommissioning activities.
- Our engineers are trained to provide LCA and GHG LCA analysis where needed
Oils Spill Prevention Plan:

Stat Marine will use its expertise in asset integrity management in the design of Oil Spill Prevention Plan
Assistance to operations/affiliates
STAT MARINE can bring years of field experience in environmental management system (EMS) implementation to assist customers’ field operations in the following area:
Environmental Management System (EMS):
- Pragmatic support to EMS and ISO 14001 implementation
- Use of customer HSE management system as a foundation
Health Risk Assessment:
- Scoping of hazards/agent: chemical, physical, biological, biomechanical
- Definition of Similar Exposure Groups, risk ranking
Training:
- Development of modules and support to training/awareness programs
- Include HRAF related training (target personnel)
